2025 is here – this is how you grow
You may not move mountains, but you can explore their peaks

Gooooooooood Morning Vietnam!!
That’s exactly what I will be screaming from my rooftop apartment in Hanoi in roughly 17 days.
Vietnamese coffee in my hand, sun beaming on my big ass forehead, bustling street noise on blast in the background, and millions of Dong in my pocket.
I need a change, and if we’re being real, you probably do too. Talking about it isn’t enough—I took action and booked a 1-way ticket.
Changing your environment is a cheat code for growth.
There’s a science to back it up. Getting outside your comfort zone stimulates the release of endorphins and dopamine.
Let me introduce you to contrast therapy first introduced to me by Tyler Denk:
It’s the deliberate act of shocking your system—dropping yourself into a completely different environment, where nothing feels familiar, and forcing your brain to adapt.
Different language, different culture, different routine—it’s discomfort in its purest form, but that’s where the magic happens.
So here’s the cliché advice I’ll die on a hill for: stop overthinking and step outside your comfort zone. You will win more.
After all, we’re digital nomads – this is what we do.
On that note, let’s save our 2025 goals for next week (I got distracted binge-watching Squid Games oops 🐙🔫).

Frosted Tips of the Week: Spoiler, there haven’t been many exciting announcements for 2025 yet…
Where will you choose this year: Here is a growing list of Digital Nomad Countries you can add to your list to visit this year. I think it’ll pass 90 by the end of 2025.
Get Yo Money Up This Year: We could all use a bit of extra dough from side hustles as DNs. This life is expensive af. Here is a newsletter I’ve been digging that drops golden nuggets on side hustles and new income streams —> The Money Buzz 🤑
remote roles of the week:
Marketers, listen up.
I have zero affiliation with these roles & companies, I simply want to see you win and if the opportunity fits, great.
Spotlight Job Posts This Week: 3️⃣
Eight Sleep - Paid Media Manager: No bs, this is your standard Paid Media Specialist job. Can you handle big ad budgets on Meta & Google, read the data, and implement? Fully-remote in US, Canada, LATAM, and Europe.
Mercury - Senior Manager - Lifecycle Marketing - Okay, for real who is trying to get their bag 💸 ? This role is fully remote in US or Canada and is paying nearly $200k with stock & equity. Sheeeeesh. But you need the experience to claim it. 8 Years in the biz leading team.
Webflow - Product Marketing Manager: This is highlighted because Webflow is an amazing website builder. They also happen to offer remote positions in Canada and US with a great salary. Basically your job is to position Webflow as the obvious choice for designers and marketers. Hurry, this one is HOT.
Nomad Diaries: Amara
Digital Nomad Profile
home city/country: Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪
current base: Lisbon, Portugal
role/profession: Marketing Strategist
# of years as a digital nomad: 4
“Hello! I’m Amara, a marketing strategist originally from Nairobi. For the past four years, I’ve been living the digital nomad life, helping brands grow through innovative strategies and creative storytelling. My work is a mix of analytics and art, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
why Lisbon? Lisbon is the perfect mix of history, culture, and great weather. The vibe here is chill but vibrant, and the food scene is unmatched (seriously, pasteis de nata are life). Plus, it’s super digital-nomad-friendly with coworking spaces everywhere. It feels like a city where you can work hard and live even harder.
what’s your biggest digital nomad hack? A shared online calendar with clients and coworkers. It’s the only thing keeping me organized with timezones.
biggest digital nomad f*ck up? I once booked an Airbnb for a month without realizing it didn’t have a proper desk or reliable internet. Lesson learned: always check the reviews thoroughly and message the host about Wi-Fi speed.
what’s your non-negotiable item when travelling? Wearing a hoodie on a flight no matter how hot it gets (it’s also my pillow).
favourite & least favourite destination?
fav: Chiang Mai, Thailand. The coworking community there is unbeatable!
least fav: Dubai. It’s beautiful but it’s too fast-paced and commercial for my liking.
okay last one, one piece of advice for a new nomad? invest in your workspace. My new Macbook has been my best investment.
📍Pin It: Rijeka, Croatia 🇭🇷

Rijeka, Croatia
What do you get when you take the best of the Adriatic coastline and some sense of not being basic while staying in Croatia? Rijeka. Trust.
recommended time: May - September
Let’s run it down:
average monthly cost of living for 1 person: ~$1400 USD
a seaview for less $$ than Split or Dubrovnik
very few coworking spaces but plenty of fun cafes like this to work from
get your steps in with walkable streets and a laid-back atmosphere
dreamy beaches like Ploče and Kostrena for afternoon chill
But ever since Croatia switched over to the Euro in 2023, the prices have been on the climb. I can say first-hand, it wasn’t as cheap as I thought when visiting. BUT, seems like an overall win for the people of Croatia.
My reco - Airbnb is expensive af here if you’re looking to spend more than a couple weeks here. So here’s the deal instead, stay in a hostel. Meet new people, have a coworking space, and don’t break the bank.
Here’s what I found for you 👀 —> Botel Marina

I CAN’T GET THIS SONG OUT OF MY HEAD!! Enjoy - jam of the week
